29) CPR DURING TRANSPORT
Patients with ongoing CPR should generally not be transported unless there is return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), a viable rhythm, special circumstances (e.g., hypothermia, toxin ingestion), or in consultation with online medical control.
Transporting patients with CPR in progress is discouraged due to the poor quality of chest compressions during movement, limited benefit, and increased risk of injury to providers.
