Within the first three (3) days of each month, all ambulances shall be thoroughly inventoried to ensure appropriate stock using the Standard Ambulance Equipment Checklist (Appendix A). During this process, the expiration date on all applicable supplies and onboard snacks shall be checked. Any supplies/snacks that are expired or will expire in the next 30 days shall be discarded and replaced with new stock.

A “control solution test” shall be performed on the glucometer and the results recorded. See appendix B for instructions.
