SCHEDULED TRIPS:

Ambulance units are notified of pending trips one (1) hour prior to the pickup time between 07:00-22:00.

Ambulance units are notified of pending trips 30 minutes prior to the pickup time between 22:00-07:00

A dispatch page will be sent to the unit. The unit shall acknowledge the dispatch page within five (5) minutes of receiving it via text message or phone call to Comm Center.

Personnel shall arrive at the pickup location 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time or arrival of the aircraft.

GO NOW:

The first notification to the unit shall be a phone call with basic information to get the unit going, followed by the dispatch page. If the first call to the unit is not answered, a second call shall be made one (1) minute later. If the second call is not answered, the trip shall be assigned to the next up unit. Units are expected to be en-route within five (5) minutes of dispatch.
